Isogo Monogatari, one of Ishikawa’s most personal and reflective works ! a semi-autobiographical series of short stories about his youth in the Isogo district of Yokohama.
Ishikawa started drawing the memoires at the end of the 1980's and his close friend, editor-in-chief, Shichiko Takahashi published a first series in Bessatsu Shōnen Natsumanoh (1993) and completed the edition in a autobiographical edition (Apple BOX Create)
