Successful Journey into the heart of Manga's heritage

Successful Journey into the heart of Manga's heritage

The exhibition Manga, Voyage au cœur du patrimoine, organized by Sultans of Manga, came to a close with results that went beyond what we had hoped for.

From September 18 to 28, 2025, Galerie Philippe Gelot, in the heart of the Marais, just steps from Place des Vosges and the lively Bastille district, welcomed hundreds of visitors who came to explore the artistic and historical richness of manga.
The choice of this historic neighborhood was intentional: its blend of architectural heritage and creative energy provided the perfect setting for an exhibition devoted to the evolution of this Japanese art form that has become a global cultural phenomenon.

Throughout the two weeks, both newcomers and seasoned collectors shared their curiosity and passion in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Many visitors said they discovered a new way of looking at manga, not just as pop culture, but as an art form with real cultural and historical depth. Its central location also drew in many passersby, who stopped in by chance and left inspired.

For Sultans of Manga, this event marked an important step forward in our effort to share the depth and diversity of manga’s heritage with a wider audience. The Marais setting offered exceptional visibility, and the warm response encourages us to continue this work.

Encouraged by this experience, we hope to bring Manga, Voyage au cœur du patrimoine to other cities in the future, not only in Paris, but also in London, Berlin, Vienna, Barcelona, and beyond.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part and helped make this exhibition such a memorable moment.
